Peercraft uses AI to take the busywork out of course creation and to help learners get more from every lecture. AI calls are rate-limited per person to keep the service responsive for everyone.

For course creators

• Auto-captions — generate captions for any uploaded video with speech-to-text. Captions power the caption track, the interactive transcript, and the AI tutor.
• Quiz generation — generate 3–10 quiz questions (with shuffled answers) from any lecture type: uploaded video, YouTube lecture, or text lesson.
• Summaries & takeaways — draft a per-lecture summary and key takeaways in one click.
• Course copy — draft course descriptions and details from your content.
• Chapter AI — when splitting a long recording, run captions, titles, summaries, and quizzes on every chapter at once, and let AI name the sections.

For learners

• AI tutor — a chat tab in the player that answers questions about the current lecture. Answers are grounded in the lecture's transcript, so the tutor talks about what the instructor actually said.
• Transcripts — auto-generated captions become an interactive transcript that follows the video and seeks on click.

What data is involved

AI features send course content only — lecture transcripts, titles, text lessons, and tutor questions. No Atlassian account IDs, names, or emails are sent to AI providers. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
